My husband has an unusual job. He works in cell tower maintenance. Most people do not realize how important it is that a cell tower is kept up properly. We rely on our cell phones almost every second of the day and if there is a problem with a tower the service will go down. It is up to my husband and others like him to make sure that there is not a problem with the tower.
Most days my husband works on cell tower maintenance to make sure that there are no issues with the tower. He fixes the issues before they have a chance to become problems. It can be a dangerous job and I sometimes worry about him while he is at work. I need to keep reminding myself that he is good at what he does and that he loves it.
Last week there was a bad storm and one of the local towers had problems because of it. My husband was then in charge of cell tower repair. He needed to make sure that everything was up and running again quickly. People's lives revolve around their cell phones and their Internet connections. My husband makes sure that life can carry on as normal.
